GREETINGS, EARTHLINGS!

My name is Katerina, and creativity has always been a central part of my life. I grew up in Russia, where I studied jewelry design for three years before moving to New York. My background in jewelry design shaped the way I think about form, structure, and detail. Designing small objects requires precision, balance, and patience, and these principles continue to influence how I approach both design and digital creation today.

My work focuses on technical game design, gameplay systems, and interactive storytelling. I enjoy building game mechanics and interactive experiences using Unreal Engine, particularly through Blueprints. What interests me most is the technical side of how games function creating systems, interactions, and gameplay logic that bring a digital world to life. I enjoy solving design problems and building structures that allow players to interact with characters, environments, and narrative elements.

Alongside the technical side of development, I also work with visual design, typography, poster design, and character creation. These skills allow me to think about games not only as technical systems but also as visual and narrative experiences. I am interested in how gameplay mechanics, character design, and environment design work together to support storytelling and immersion.

My goal is to continue developing as a technical game designer, combining gameplay systems, interactive storytelling, and visual creativity. I want to build engaging game worlds where mechanics, narrative, and player experience work together seamlessly. Ultimately, I aim to create interactive experiences that feel immersive, meaningful, and memorable for players.
